Performance Attribution Analyst

Geode Capital Management, LLC (“Geode”) is seeking an experienced Performance Attribution Analyst to become an integral member of the Finance team responsible for performance reporting and attribution.

Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely reporting of investment performance and attribution, including compilation, research, validation, and analysis
  • Preparation and review of investor, client and internal reporting
  • Interpret and provide insights into performance results including market and other outside factors
  • Maintain proprietary performance database
  • Manage performance of fund benchmarks and composites
  • Maintaining internal controls and thorough documentation of policies and procedures
  • Respond to performance enquiries from the investment staff and other ad-hoc requests

Qualifications: 

  • 3-5 years of prior experience working in a daily fund accounting or performance position
  • Knowledge of performance attribution and characteristics including benchmarks and composition
  • Knowledge of finance/accounting principles, practices and reporting
  • Knowledge of and experience with equity markets, ETFs, derivatives, tax-efficient and hedge funds
  • Knowledge of the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) preferred
  • Solid understanding and experience with Excel; experience with SQL preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent required
  • Certificate in Performance Measurement (CIPM) designation preferred
